Sorry we didn’t give you a heads up on what the topic was for this week, but we did at least get it out on time.  This week we picked our favorite animal characters ranging from all media types.  We hope you enjoy the episode.  It is a little short, but stay tuned after the ending music to hear Shawn prove he still doesn’t know how a computer works.

The Nerd List is back from a longer than usual absence.  Once again in this episode Shawn and Jon have differing opinions when it comes to Star Wars.  Be the deciding voice.  Who wins a battle to the death, Chewbacca or Obi Wan?  No lightsabers and no crossbow, muscle to force wielding showdown!

The new list is favorite side-kicks.  We are not limiting this to superhero side-kicks.  When making your list, be thinking of that character that is always hanging around the main character from your favorite media.

Jon and Shawn’s choices are pretty scattered.  Some are scenarios that are sure to kill everyone.  Others will kill some and mostly just be inconvenient.  Either way, people are dying and if you live, you may wish you were dead.

This week we are going with a listener’s suggestion for the list.  We all know there are dozens of ways that life can end, or has ended on our planet.  Which ones scare you the most?  Which ones are most likely to happen?  Which ones do you wish could happen, just to see how you would fare in the situation.

This episode is quite a bit longer than the last song episode.  That’s because instead of one minute intro songs, we are playing full songs straight from the movies.  Shawn was in his goofy mood again, making life difficult for Jon.  Even so, they manage to press through and “get er done.”

This time it is another episode mostly for the guys.  However, girls can join in and give their list of favorite female cartoon characters.  Guys, who is the hottest?  Girls, who do you identify with the most and wanted to be like growing up?

Are Jon and Shawn predictable in this episode?  Do they choose the very characters  the faithful listeners have come to expect, or do they step out of the box and get creative.  There is really only one way to find out, and that is to listen.
