GAMES

We’ve done video games a couple of times now, so we thought it was only proper to show some love to other types of games.  Everyone has grown up with their favorite games that they have fond memories of playing with their friends and family.  What rules did you and your buddies make up for these games, or were you the one that kept the rule book at your side at all times?  Tell us your top ten game list and we’ll tell you ours.

Guilty Pleasures

This episode didn’t go as planned.  Jon and Shawn’s lists were a little weak, but the extra time was filled in with corrections of previous episodes.  Someone likes bubble baths, someone collects Wonder Woman, someone listens to NSYNC and someone regularly gets manicures.  Can you guess who?  Probably not…  You may not even care.

Guilty Pleasures

Our next list is one we are really very interested to hear your top ten on. We will be discussing our guilty pleasures. We all have those things that we are ashamed to admit we like and enjoy regularly. You tell us yours and we will tell you ours.

SCI-FI/FANTASY

Because the last one was late, this one is a little early.  In this weeks episode Shawn scoffs at Star Trek and Harry Potter,  Jon scoffs at Star Wars Episode I and both defend their point of view vigorously.  Who’s opinion do you agree with?  Who is better, Darth Maul or Darth Vader?  Was the Star Trek movie any good?  Is Jon just a sucker for terrible movies or is Shawn closed minded?  You decide.  Also, Jon and Shawn discuss their favorite female wrestlers at the behest of a loyal listener.

50% of commenters agree, Empire is best!

SCI-FI/FANTASY

Our next topic is going to be about our favorite Sci-fi and Fantasy movies.  Who would win?  Gandalf or Yoda?  Captain Kirk or Han Solo?  Harry Potter or Robocop?…  I don’t think that last one is fair.  Let us know what you think would be great match-ups and of course don’t forget to tell us your top ten list.

MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES

Chimera

Jon and Shawn come through after a failure at their first attempt to record the episode.  It was good practice the first time around and a better episode has resulted.  In this episode Shawn fantasizes about riding a flying horse in the clouds, Jon displays that the word “neat” is the only adjective necessary to talk about anything, and the terrifying Werehippo only makes the honorable mentions list.  What is a werehippo you ask?  Well, I think only Shawn can truly answer that.

Due to technical difficulties we were unable to get our episode out when we expected. We were plagued with recording issues. Hopefully we can get these problems resolved and have the new episode out shortly.

With the new Clash of The Titans movie inching its way ever closer to the big screen, Jon and Shawn thought it would be a good idea to cover mythological creatures.  However, we will not be limiting ourselves to Greek or Roman mythology.  That being said, what are your favorite mythological characters?  As long as you leave the unicorn for Shawn, anything else goes.  Look for this episode to be up by Friday, 3/12/2010.

This week, Ryan, of the popular science podcast, Science… Sort of, joins us to discuss what super heroes we wish we were and whose powers we wish we had.  Also, in this episode, hear Shawn speak “Ja-cajun”, and you’ll never guess who he left off his list.  Better yet, you’ll never guess who he put on his list that disgusted Ryan.  Is Goku classified a super hero?  Let us know what you think along with your top ten list.
