For Memorial Day weekend, Shawn and Jon went to Galveston, TX. While riding on the ferry many passengers thought they had stumbled onto the set of a remake of Jason Takes Manhattan, but it was just Shawn enjoying the ocean breeze. Once making it across Jon, Shawn and Cliff (episode 4) got some supplies together and went crabbing. In the pictures above you will see two unique finds we managed to pull out of our nets. Shawn caught a flounder and cliff discovered a cigar smoking crab. After pulling in a decent catch, we headed to the beach where we boiled the freshly caught crabs and grilled some deer sausage. Not a bad memorial day weekend. We want to know what the Nerdites were up to. Post your Memorial Day stories here.
This time the topic was a surprise. We think you will really like this episode even though we don’t have a whole lot to say. We let the music say it all for us. We didn’t do any honorable mentions, so let us know what should have been somewhere on the list that we left off.
There was an error made when this episode was first uploaded. If you downloaded a file that didn’t have the first song mentioned on it, then you need to download it again to get the full corrected version.
After putting up The Nerd List #24 late on Friday, Jon and Shawn got together to celebrate only having two more weeks left of work before summer vacation. Here we see Shawn gathering the ingredients for the meal and then cooking it. The man puts together an excellent boil. Wish some Nerdites could have been there.
Jon and Shawn step way back in time to walk with the dinosaurs… and prehistoric mammals… and swim with extinct sharks… OK, they don’t actually do any of that, but they do talk about them. Be by your computer when you listen to this one. You will want to look them up.
Who hasn’t been captivated by the idea that these bizarre monstrous creatures existed at one time. Who hasn’t wanted to go back in time and see what they looked like with skin, feathers and hair. No time period is excluded in this one. If it lived before recorded history it counts. What are your favorite prehistoric animals?
This time it’s back to the 90′s! Jon and Shawn will be discussing the things they miss from the 90′s. If you recognized what was in this picture then this show will definitely be for you.
I’ve been thinking about changing our logo to something that fits our content a little better. However, we wanted to give you a voice in the matter. Do you think this logo will suit us better or should we stick with the original? Comment and let us know what you think.
This week its Jon, Shawn and Dawn. That’s right, they all rhyme. Shawn’s sister joins the fray. Unusually there are no big disagreements in this episode. I take that back. There is one. Shawn picks one actor that catches Jon and Dawn off guard. When you hear it, you may say to yourself, “What is this fool thinking?” I know I did.
If you had just seen the picture, could you have guessed what our topic was going to be? If not right at first, I bet it was on your top ten list of our possible lists relating to this guy. This week we will be joined by someone who has had to put up with Shawn for much longer than Jon, to discuss who are the absolute worst actors in Hollywood. I believe this is a topic that everyone has an opinion on. What’s yours?
